Job summary

Nationwide is seeking a seasoned Consultant to lead enterprise-wide transformation initiatives within the Property & Casualty group. You will engage with senior leaders to define, design, deploy and support business performance improvements across processes, people and technology.

The role emphasizes extensive underwriting/operations experience in Excess and Surplus/Specialty lines, along with strong PM capabilities and ability to manage cross-functional projects in a large corporate setting.

Qualifications

• Eight plus years of dynamic experience in planning, designing and implementing company-wide business transformation initiatives.
• Three years of experience in project management is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of standards, methodologies and frameworks, business process management and technology.

Responsibilities

• Partners with senior leaders to transform their businesses through the strategic application of people, processes and technology.
• Leads business process analysis/design, organizational analysis, needs assessments and cost/benefit analysis to align solutions with business strategies.
• Serves as process management consultant between business customers and systems area for development and implementation of business processes and procedures.
• Identifies critical elements of a business process that need to be managed and defines criteria of performance success.
• Participates in analysis and design of organizational structures, roles, governance, staffing and sourcing to support goals.
• Leads training of customers on business, technological, societal and environmental trends to support strategies for improving performance.
