Qualifications

The ideal Senior Business Systems & Software Engineer will help drive technology solutions that simplify processes, improve efficiency, and support continued business growth in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities of the Senior Business Systems & Software Engineer:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand operational needs and translate them into technology solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications, including backend services, databases, APIs, and user interfaces.
• Configure, customize, and support business applications, ERP platforms, and SaaS solutions.
• Build and maintain integrations between enterprise systems to improve data flow and business processes.
• Evaluate solution options and recommend whether custom development or existing software best meets business requirements.
• Work with stakeholders to balance priorities, align requirements, and implement practical solutions.
• Communicate technical concepts and system designs to both technical teams and business users.
• Contribute to software quality through testing, documentation, and maintainable coding practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve business processes, system performance, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications of the Senior Business Systems & Software Engineer:

• 4+ years of experience in software engineering, systems engineering, business applications, or related technical roles.
• Experience designing and delivering full-stack software solutions from requirements through deployment.
• Hands-on experience with ERP, CRM, or SaaS platforms such as NetSuite, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, SAP, or similar systems.
• Experience building integrations using APIs, web services, data pipelines, and automation tools.
• Strong understanding of software development best practices, database design, and system architecture.
• Proven ability to work directly with business stakeholders and deliver solutions that improve operations.
• Familiarity with version control, software testing, and modern development workflows.
• Experience with cloud technologies, AI-assisted development tools, or process improvement methodologies is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.

Compensation for the Senior Business Systems & Software Engineer includes:

• Salary range: $110,000 - $150,000 base salary (depending on experience)
