Job summary

Acadian Asset Management in Boston, MA is seeking a seasoned Business Systems Architect to join our Performance Attribution/Investment Operations teams. You’ll translate complex investment workflows into practical technology solutions that deliver measurable value and support portfolio performance data, calculations, and reporting.

This full-time, on-site role offers a hybrid work environment with three days on-site in the Boston office, commensurate with experience and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Business Systems Analysis in investment management.
• Experience in Performance & Attribution, Securities Operations, or Investment Operations.
• Proven ability to partner with business stakeholders and deliver tech solutions.
• Experience leading BA work throughout Agile software delivery lifecycle.
• Excellent analytical, facilitation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with investment platforms and enterprise data tech (BISAM B-One, FactSet, Snowflake, SQL, Tableau).
• Strong ownership mindset, curiosity, and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships across PAG, Investment Ops, Client Reporting, and tech vendors.
• Lead analysis from concept to implementation translating business needs into tech solutions.
• Analyze investment workflows to improve efficiency, data quality, and resiliency.
• Investigate issues, identify root causes, and drive sustainable solutions with teams.
• Shape Acadian's Performance & Attribution technology capabilities to evolving needs.
• Partner with engineers and vendors to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.
• Explore emerging technologies and promote better ways of working.
• Mentor teammates and bring structure to complex challenges.
