Job summary

Ross Stores is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to improve and enable business capabilities across allocation applications and planning systems. The role partners closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and delivery partners to facilitate process and system improvements and to deliver high-impact initiatives.

The position is hybrid in Dublin, CA, with base salary $99,900–$163,950 and additional rewards based on location and experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in IS, CS, business, or related field.
5+ years supporting IT systems in a highly integrated retail environment.
Strong BA practices: process mapping, requirements elicitation, use cases, and documentation.
Excellent communication and facilitation with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead cross-functional efforts translating business strategy into actionable solutions for Merchandising, Planning and Allocation initiatives.
Lead analysis of processes, services, and technologies; gather requirements, refine use cases, and translate into designs.
Drive alignment across stakeholders, IT, and vendors; communicate complex concepts clearly.
Own and maintain business requirements, functional designs, user stories, and backlog items.
Coordinate support for production systems; define issues, prioritize enhancements, and validate fixes.
Provide Tier 0/1 functional guidance and senior leadership to business partners.
Collaborate with architects, developers, and vendors to ensure solutions meet business and tech standards.
Prepare analyses, options, and communications for stakeholders and leadership; track risks and outcomes.
Create and maintain process maps, data flow diagrams, test materials, and reference docs.
Promote change management and strengthen BA practices and documentation.
