Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Business Systems Analyst III in Maryland Heights, MO. Hybrid role with onsite requirements. You will liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, elicit requirements, craft user stories, and document processes to ensure SDLC success.

You will lead discovery sessions, create process flows, and translate complex processes into clear system requirements. Strong communication and Agile familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience as a Business Systems Analyst.
• Strong requirements elicitation and stakeholder interview skills.
• Ability to write high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Experience creating process flows and workflow diagrams.
• Solid understanding of the SDLC from discovery through delivery.
• Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
• Ability to translate complex business processes into system requirements.
• Effective communication and facilitation skills.
• Preferred: Agile experience, multi-system integration experience, and familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Visio, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand needs, challenges, and desired outcomes.
• Lead requirements elicitation sessions and conduct effective discovery.
• Translate needs into clear, well-written user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Create and maintain business process flows and workflows.
• Analyze current-state processes to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Document functional and system requirements.
• Understand application, system, and process interactions and impacts.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, Product Owners, and technology teams throughout the SDLC.
• Clarify requirements and support development and testing.
• Ensure requirements are complete, clear, testable, and aligned to objectives.
• Contribute to solution discussions and provide recommendations based on analysis.
• Maintain requirements and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
