Job summary

MedImpact Healthcare Systems, Inc. is seeking a Business Systems Analyst III to bridge end-users and the internal IT software development team.

The role reviews, analyzes, and evaluates basic to moderately complex business systems and user needs. Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies; writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in a relevant field with 4+ years of experience.
• Experience in PBM, health plan, or related area preferred.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical specs.

Responsibilities

• Interviews end-users to define business requirements for complex software changes.
• Develops functional specs and coordinates changes from original specs.
• Facilitates design sessions with business and technical resources.
• Documents requirements, rules, and system flow diagrams.
• Leads projects to completion with plans and status updates.
• Ensures applications meet requirements within budget and time.
• Supports QA and release management activities.
• Mentors junior analysts when needed.
