What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop deep knowledge in complex accounting processes, including intersegment accounting and tax
- Gather and document requirements from the accounting organization and assist in system design
- Perform business and system analysis tasks, including requirement grooming and system testing
- Lead discussions with development and accounting teams to identify improvement opportunities
- Troubleshoot problems with complex accounting data sets and conduct data analytics

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED (or higher)
- 5+ years of experience in accounting/finance topics, including allocations and journal creation
- 3+ years of experience as an Accounting/Data/Systems Analyst with knowledge of requirements specification
- 3+ years of experience in manipulating and analyzing large data sets using tools like Excel and SQL Server
- Strong judgment and communication skills for assessing accounting requirements and system design

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Software Engineering, or a related analytical field
- Experience with intercompany accounting and query tools/database structures
- Demonstrated ability to influence technical and business leadership through effective communication
- High proficiency in Finance/Accounting functionality within ERP systems like PeopleSoft or Oracle ERP
- Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and basic project management techniques
