Job summary

Brooksource is seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst in Charlotte, NC for a hybrid role (3 days onsite). The contract runs through mid-2029 with compensation of $49–$53 per hour.

The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years in evaluating and enhancing computer-based business systems, expertise with Maximo and GIS platforms, and strong collaboration with engineering, permitting, and vendors to support project closeouts and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in related field.
• 10+ years of experience analyzing and improving computer-based business systems.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Verify Equipment Change Requests (ECRs) with Engineering for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure GIS Update Requests are submitted to the GIS team and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Run Asset Automation in Maximo and confirm asset data completeness.
• Monitor Work Order tasks and follow up to ensure timely closure.
• Update Facilities Ratings Database and coordinate with FAC-008 as needed.
• Collaborate with ARC Analyst to resolve ARC failures and support redlines/as-built docs.
• Coordinate with Permitting to close out permits and address SPANS with vendors.
• Provide monthly project closeout updates and complete CCFs.
• Prepare and deliver monthly reporting and forecast adjustments.
• Analyze processes to improve computer-based business systems for resource optimization.
• Document needs, functions, and steps for new/modified systems.
• Evaluate existing systems to identify efficiency improvements.
