Job summary

Stellent IT LLC is seeking an experienced GIS Analyst to support a client in Mechanicsville, VA. The role focuses on advanced GIS analysis, enterprise asset data management, GIS application development, and maintaining GIS data for highway maintenance assets.

Requirements include strong ESRI GIS technology expertise (ArcGIS Pro 3.x+), ArcGIS API for JavaScript, Python scripting, and experience with ArcGIS Enterprise and related data stores. Hybrid work with onsite days is offered.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of GIS experience and GIS development.
• 5+ years with ESRI GIS technologies (ArcGIS Pro 3.x+).
• 5+ years designing, developing, and delivering web applications.
• Experience with ArcGIS API for JavaScript or other JavaScript mapping APIs.
• Strong Python scripting and GIS automation.
• Hands-on experience with ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcSDE, Portal, Server, Web Adaptors, and Data Stores.
• Experience developing complex GIS analyses, mapping projects, and multi-layered maps.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, including explaining technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in GIS and GIS application development.
• 5+ years of experience with ESRI GIS technologies, including ArcGIS Pro 3.x or higher.
• 5+ years of experience designing, developing, and delivering web applications.
• Experience with ArcGIS API for JavaScript or other JavaScript mapping APIs.

• Experience developing and maintaining GIS applications for spatial data management.
• Knowledge of Power BI and reporting tools.
