The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) seeks a seasoned Business Systems Analyst to help lead enterprise-wide modernization. You will partner with business experts to design solutions across business, IT, and data domains, translating needs into precise technical requirements while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

In this role you will drive strategic improvements, document complex requirements, and support governance, change management, and organizational transformation

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of the organization's business systems and commercial business applications.
• Advanced knowledge of software engineering process tools and project management theories.
• Ability to articulate and translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Experience applying system development methodologies to drive large modernization initiatives.
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence diverse stakeholder groups.
• Ability to lead, coach and develop staff and manage workflow.
• Demonstrated ability to manage strategic partnerships and customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and manage business relationships to identify needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Plan complex enterprise integrations and oversee enterprise modernization initiatives.
• Document requirements clearly and prevent gaps or assumptions.
• Lead changes in governance and participate in strategic planning for IT division.
