Insight Global is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to gather and document requirements for ecommerce solutions, translate needs into clear user stories, and coordinate priorities with Product Owners and stakeholders.

You will work with architects, developers, QA, and cloud teams to ensure feasible, well-defined functionality across services and micro frontends. Strong communication and a proactive, self-led approach are essential.

Formación

• Minimum 8 years of experience as a business analyst within an information systems or information technology organization.
• Experience organizing and leading effective requirements elicitation workshops.
• Experience producing detailed systems specifications.
• Experience with detailed functional testing.
• Strong technical skills: SQL/Access DB, Ad Hoc Data Analysis, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Java, Spring Boot, APIs, Microsoft Azure, Cosmos DB, Bitbucket.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms & cloud native web applications.
• Exposure to SAP or other ERP, ETL, ATG Web Commerce, CommerceTools, WordPress, InRiver, Bloom Reach, Endeca, Talento is a plus.
• 4-year degree (or higher) in CS, IS, Engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Self-starter with ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities within a fast-paced environment.
• Must be highly motivated with excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsabilidades

• Requirement Analysis & Documentation: gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for eCommerce solutions.
• Technical Understanding & Collaboration: work with architects and developers to understand designs, APIs, and workflows; bridge business and tech teams.
• Effort Estimation & Planning: participate in sprint planning and estimate features; break down work into tasks.
• Proxy Product Owner responsibilities: own the product backlog, refine user stories, drive backlog grooming and sprint planning.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: collaborate with product managers, designers, developers, QA, and stakeholders; ensure clear timelines and priorities.
• Quality Assurance & UAT Support: support testing efforts and assist in UAT for smooth deployments.

Job Description

• Requirement Analysis & Documentation:
  • o Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for eCommerce solutions.
  • o Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
  • o Coordinate and prioritize individual deliverables with Product Owners/Stakeholders
  • o Elicit and document requirements NFRs and specifically related to observability, monitoring, SRE etc. monitoring and alerting for different services and micro frontends using App Insights.
• Technical Understanding & Collaboration:
  • o Work closely with architects and developers to understand technical designs, APIs, integrations, and system workflows.
  • o Bridge the gap between business and technical teams, ensuring alignment and feasibility of solutions.
• Effort Estimation & Planning:
  • o Participate in sprint planning and provide accurate effort estimation for features and enhancements.
  • o Work with development teams to break down work into manageable tasks including for technical components.
• Proxy Product Owner (PO) Responsibilities:
  • o Act as a Proxy PO, ensuring development teams have clear priorities and well-defined requirements.
  • o Own the product backlog, refine user stories, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure business goals are met.
  • o Drive backlog grooming sessions, sprint planning, and ensure smooth delivery of features.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:
  • o Collaborate with product managers, designers, developers, QA, and business stakeholders.
  • o Communicate requirements, timelines, and priorities effectively across teams.
  • o Must be able to collaborate with Enterprise DevOps and Cloud Teamso Adhere to IT Department policies best practices and work successfully within an iterative SDLC environment.
• Quality Assurance & UAT Support:
  • o Support testing efforts by validating feature implementations against requirements.
  • o Assist in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and ensure smooth deployment of changes.

Skills and Requirements

• Requirements include:
  • o Minimum 8 years of experience as a business analyst within an information systems or information technology organization.
  • o Experience organizing and leading effective requirements elicitation workshops.
  • o Experience producing detailed systems specifications.
  • o Experience with detailed functional testing.
  • o Good grasp of the following technical skills: SQL/Access DB, Ad Hoc Data Analysis, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Java, Sprint Boot, APIs, Microsoft Azure, Cosmos DB, Bitbucket.
  • o Experience with e-commerce platforms & cloud native web applications.
  • o Exposure to the following technologies is a plus: SAP or other ERP, ETL, ATG Web Commerce, CommerceTools, WordPress, InRiver, Bloom Reach, Endeca, Talento.
  • o 4-year degree (or higher) in CS, IS, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • o Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities within a fast-paced work environment.
  • o Must be highly motivated and dependable with excellent communication and collaboration skills
