Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Corporation is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst in Findlay, Ohio, to shape and deliver transformative technology solutions across refining operations. You will partner with business leaders and the Digital team to define strategy, influence priorities, and drive enterprise‑scale initiatives from concept through value realization.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field.
5+ years of relevant Experience required.
Experience leading complex IT/OT initiatives in refining, manufacturing, industrial, or operational technology environments strongly preferred.
Experience with Data Contextualization or Industrial Digital Twin technologies is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead identification, evaluation, and delivery of strategic digital initiatives.
Leads improvement recommendations and presents to senior/executive management.
Serve as trusted advisor to shape digital roadmap and accelerate operational excellence.
Presents and leads client meetings with business and development teams.
Communicates with senior leaders for cross-functional processes and applications to solve client requirements.
Partners with senior Refining and Digital leaders to align investments with objectives across IT/OT.
Provides recommendations for systems alternatives and enhancements.
Collaborates with business teams to develop ways to investigate performance and drive planning.
Leads cost-benefit and ROI analyses for proposed systems.
