Johnson Controls is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to shape the future of our Applied Chiller business. In this highly visible role, you’ll lead requirements and delivery for a development team responsible for our cloud-based equipment selection platforms, driving competitive advantage across the organization.

You’ll bridge business and technology, own the product backlog, and work with developers, QA, architects, and leaders to translate complex needs into actionable work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or a technical field, or equivalent experience; Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of product, business systems analysis or software development lifecycle experience.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or a similar tool (e.g., Jira).
• Understanding of web and cloud applications, APIs and data integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements and delivery for cloud-based equipment selection platforms.
• Own the product backlog and align cross-functional teams.
• Translate complex business needs into actionable user stories.
• Collaborate with product management, engineering, sales and field users.
• Provide 2nd-level support for equipment selection tools.
• Ensure backlog standards and team processes improvements.
