Job summary

AAA Northeast is seeking a Business Systems Analyst II to bridge business needs and IT solutions, ensuring projects deliver value and align with objectives.

You will analyze processes, elicit requirements, create specifications, and collaborate with stakeholders to design, test, and implement effective IT systems. This role emphasizes documentation, training, and ongoing optimization of business operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in CS/IT/Business Admin or related field.
• 6-8 years of additional relevant experience.
• Master's Degree preferred.
• 2+ years as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role.
• 1+ years analyzing and documenting business processes and system specs.
• 1+ years with SDLC, project mgmt methodologies, and testing/QA.
• 1+ years in feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses, and business cases.
• CBAP/CCBA preferred; additional certifications preferred.
• Certifications in data analysis or Lean Six Sigma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business processes to identify opportunities for improvement and automation.
• Elicit, document, and validate requirements; translate into functional/technical specs; use BPMN to model processes.
• Collaborate with IT to design solutions; develop use cases and user stories; ensure feasibility and alignment with enterprise standards.
• Develop and execute test plans; coordinate UAT; document defects and drive resolutions.
• Assist in implementation and deployment; provide user training and post-implementation support.
• Build relationships with stakeholders; facilitate communication between business and IT; present progress and plans.
• Perform gap analyses, feasibility studies, and cost-benefit analyses; create business cases.
• Monitor performance and advocate process improvements; stay current with industry trends.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and documentation; maintain repository of processes.
