Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst – Finance Systems to support a leading lumber company in North America. The role focuses on Oracle EBS R12 across GL, AP, FA, and Cash Management, with involvement in P2P and R2R processes.

You will lead requirements, configurations, and testing, while ensuring security, controls, and compliance. Collaboration with Finance and Tech teams, mentoring peers, and contributing to month-end and year-end closures are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Oracle EBS R12 experience.
• 5+ years supporting Oracle Finance, Record-to-Report, and Procure-to-Pay processes.
• Strong experience with General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management.
• Experience with Purchasing, Inventory, approval workflows, and financial period close.
• Demonstrated experience independently configuring, supporting, and enhancing Oracle EBS production environments.
• Experience with financial reporting, banking integrations, interfaces, security responsibilities, and access governance.
• Strong understanding of financial controls, audit requirements, segregation of duties, and compliance.
• Experience working within manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain-intensive environments.
• Experience supporting a publicly traded organization within audit and compliance frameworks.
• Experience with ServiceNow, JIRA, or comparable delivery/support tools.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with both Finance and Technology stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot complex production issues, perform root cause analysis, and develop long-term solutions.
• Support critical month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
• Lead functional testing, including system integration testing and UAT.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce manual work, and better leverage standard Oracle EBS functionality.
• Ensure solutions meet financial control, audit, security, and compliance requirements.
• Partner with Finance and Technology stakeholders while providing functional guidance and mentorship to other team members.
