Primary Responsibilities
  • Oversee the implementation of regulatory requirements and accreditation standards, utilizing workflow management platforms to organize, analyze, and track information, and collaborating with teams to clarify and communicate changes to stakeholders.
  • Assess, research, and respond to compliance inquiries accurately and within deadlines, developing remediation plans for issues identified.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) during inquiries and audits, familiarizing yourself with regulatory requirements, OptumRx policies, and maintaining tools to ensure alignment.
  • Create and maintain policies and procedures, analyzing content for accuracy and making necessary edits.
  • Support Optum Licensing with accurate and timely responses.
  • Assist with audit activities by prioritizing requests and providing necessary information promptly.

Required Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience with prior authorizations within a PBM, including using relevant management systems and claims platforms.
  • Proficiency in writing and editing complex documents such as research papers, white papers, or training materials.
  • Strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Experience in team leadership, project management, or problem resolution.
  • Experience with audit, regulatory, or legal work.
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Effective verbal, presentation, and facilitation skills, including presenting to large groups or senior leaders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with organizational tools such as OneNote, Visio, SharePoint, Access, or MS Project.

The salary range for this role is $71,600 to $140,600 annually, depending on factors like location, experience, and certifications. Benefits include comprehensive packages, incentive programs, stock purchase options, and 401k contributions. We are committed to equitable care and diversity.
