Position Overview
We are seeking a Business Process Analyst IV – Financial Systems & Process Improvement to join a growing Financial Systems team. This role will serve as a critical partner to Revenue Accounting and Finance leadership, driving process enhancements, automation initiatives, reporting capabilities, and financial systems optimization.
This position offers the opportunity to lead high impact projects involving Oracle Cloud ERP, revenue accounting processes, system integrations, reporting transformations, and process automation. The ideal candidate combines strong accounting and finance knowledge with financial systems expertise and a passion for leveraging technology and AI driven solutions to improve efficiency and scalability across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and automate Accounts Receivable reserve models, including bad debt reserves, contractual adjustments, and allowance calculations
- Develop and enhance revenue reporting, dashboards, and analytics to identify trends, risks, and performance opportunities
- Manage Oracle ARCS transaction matching processes, including design, configuration, testing, and deployment of automated match rules
- Lead financial systems enhancements, testing efforts, and user acceptance testing initiatives supporting revenue and receivables workflows
- Support reporting platform migrations and system transformation projects, including data validation, parallel testing, and implementation activities
- Automate reconciliation processes and improve operational efficiencies across accounting and finance functions
- Partner with Accounting, FP&A, IT, Operations, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable process improvements
- Support SOX compliance initiatives, audit requests, control documentation, and process governance activities
Key Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in financial systems, accounting operations, process improvement, business analysis, or related finance and accounting functions
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field
- Hands on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, Oracle Cloud applications, or similar enterprise financial systems
- Strong understanding of revenue accounting concepts, including accruals, reserves, receivables, and financial close processes
- Experience with Oracle ARCS, Oracle EPM, OBIEE, ERP reporting tools, or comparable reconciliation and analytics platforms
- Advanced Excel skills with experience building financial models, automated reporting, reconciliations, and analytical tools
- Experience supporting system integrations, transformations, migrations, or enterprise technology implementations
- Working knowledge of SOX controls, audit requirements, and financial process documentation
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and collaborate across multiple departments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with healthcare revenue cycle, patient accounting, or receivables operations
- Experience with NextGen or similar revenue cycle platforms
- Exposure to automation tools, SQL, scripting, or workflow automation technologies
- Experience leveraging AI tools to automate financial processes, reporting, or analysis
- CPA, CISA, or comparable professional certification
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, healthcare services, or multi entity business environments
