Rula is seeking a Sr. Business Operations Manager to lead complex cross-functional projects that drive growth. You will own initiatives end-to-end, from concept to measurable impact, and work directly with senior leaders to align strategy and execution.

The role emphasizes analysis, data-driven decision making, and scalable processes across a fast-paced organization, with the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in the United States.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in management consulting, operations or strategy roles in high-growth firms.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate goals into operational plans across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience with SQL and BI tools for data-driven decision making.
• Proven track record of 0-to-1 execution and launching new initiatives.

Job description

• We are seeking a Sr. Business Operations Manager to spearhead the impactful, complex, and strategic cross-functional projects that drive Rula’s continued growth
• As an individual contributor, success requires strong analytical capabilities, strategic problem-solving, and proactive stakeholder management to align teams and turn big-picture ideas into scaled and streamlined execution
• Candidates must comfortably operate at all stages of an initiative, moving fluidly through the full lifecycle of business critical projects
• On any given day, this involves setting mental models, decomposing problems, making recommendations from self-served data, and establishing project requirements
• End-to-end ownership is essential, and requires coordination of cross-functional partners and independent execution

Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal), with a demonstrated ability to tailor messaging for audiences of diverse specializations and high seniorityStrong executive presence, with experience partnering directly with senior leaders, driving alignment, and confidently facilitating challenging conversations7+ years of combined experience in management consulting, Business Operations and Strategy, financial analysis, demand planning, or strategic planning roles within high-growth or mid-sized companiesBachelor’s degree and/or higher degreeDemonstrated ability to convert goals into operational plans across multidisciplinary teams, including performance measurement and system and/or mechanism designIntermediate analytical modeling skills (e.g. Google Sheets and Excel), and proficiency leveraging SQL to regularly write queries independentlyExperience working in a startup/fast paced company environmentProficiency with BI tools (e.g., Looker, Hex, PowerBI, Tableau) for building business cases and facilitating deep dive investigationsExperience leading and delivering 2+ long-term projects requiring 6+ months of continuous coordination across multidisciplinary teamsProven 0-to-1 execution experience, with a track record of successfully launching new business lines, products, or major strategic initiatives from concept to rollout
