Job summary

Ursa Major in Washington, DC seeks a Senior Business Operations Analyst to serve as leadership's right hand, uniting finance, operations, and strategy to deliver impact. You will turn complex data into concise, decision-ready insights to help the President grow the business.

You will lead cross-functional projects, develop briefings and dashboards, and drive initiatives from scoping to execution, presenting findings to executives and key partners.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or a high-growth operating role.
• Strong financial and analytical skills, with comfort building models and working with messy data.
• Ability to distill complexity into clear, compelling presentations.
• Proven record of managing multiple priorities and delivering with minimal direction.
• Excellent judgment, discretion, and communication skills.
• Defense, aerospace, or manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance (if applicable).
• Classification: Full-time Exempt

The Role

The Senior Business Operations Analyst serves as leadership's right hand, connecting financial, operational, and strategic efforts across the company. You'll take on a wide range of high-impact, one-off projects, turning complex information into clear, decision-ready insights that help the President make faster, more accurate calls to grow the business.

What You'll Do

• Act as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to the President
