POSITION TITLE: Senior Business Office Manager
REPORTS TO: Administrator with matrix reporting to Regional Business Office Consultant
STATUS: Non-Exempt
DIRECT REPORTS: None
ACCOUNTABILITY OBJECTIVE:
To perform and/or oversee the successful and timely completion of all business office functions as prescribed by Center Business Office Policy and Procedure and any resource manuals, within the parameters established by state and federal regulation, and as necessary to achieve the financial and operational goals of the facility. Serve as a regional mentor and trainer for new Business Office Managers, providing guidance and support under the direction of the Regional Business Office Consultant and VP of Revenue Cycle. Support an environment that promotes optimal efficiencies, staff retention and superior quality of business office employees.

Working Conditions:
Work is generally conducted inside an office with occasional travel to other facilities in the region for training and support purposes.
Physical Effort:
Work is primarily sedentary; reaching, handling, and finger dexterity required in operating machines (i.e., computer equipment, copier, fax machines, etc.).
Physical Environment:
Primary office located at Long term care Center with travel to regional facilities as needed.
Sensory Attention:
Concentration of all senses (seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting, touching) are required. Many times concentration of two or more senses at the same time does occur. Comprehension ability required for understanding and applying principles and procedures.
Mental Stress:
Extreme mental stress can occur often for short periods; meeting deadlines, disruptions, conditions of illness and death, and managing multiple facility support responsibilities.
