Quantix Supply Chain Solutions is seeking a Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst to join the BI & Data team.

The ideal candidate will apply extensive hands‑on Power BI and SQL experience to build dashboards, reports, and data models that drive decisions across Quantix's supply chain divisions. You will lead dashboard development from requirements through UAT and go-live, build scalable data models, implement row‑level security, and collaborate with Finance and leadership to translate complex

• 5+ years of experience in BI, data analytics, or a related field.
• 5+ years with Microsoft Power BI: data modeling, DAX, M, and security.
• 5+ years writing SQL in a complex relational db environment.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to translate complex datasets into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree or demonstrated equivalent experience.

Description

Position Overview

Quantix Supply Chain Solutions is seeking a Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst to join the BI & Data team. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI and SQL, with a proven ability to convert business requirements into compelling dashboards, reports, and data models that drive decision-making across Quantix's supply chain divisions.

Key Responsibilities

Dashboard & Report Development

• - Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that translate complex data into clear operational and strategic insights for division leadership and business users
• - Lead dashboard builds for assigned division(s) from requirements gathering through UAT and go-live
• - Build and maintain data models, calculated measures, and DAX/M logic within Power BI
• - Optimize Power BI reports and data models for performance and scalability
• - Configure and maintain Power BI security roles (row-level security) to ensure appropriate data access
• - Train and support business users on Power BI usage, report navigation, and best practices

Data Analysis & SQL

• - Provide ad hoc data mining and analysis in response to business questions from division leadership
• - Perform data validation to ensure accuracy and integrity of reports and dashboards
• - Partner with Finance and division leadership to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions

Data Integration & EDW Support

• - Build tables in the development environment to test and validate data in coordination with the EDW Architect (the EDW Architect) before production promotion
• - Partner with Finance and division stakeholders to define and document data definitions and business rules for assigned division scope
• - Own data definition documentation — ensure business rules, field definitions, and reporting logic are clearly captured and maintained
• - Participate in data quality validation processes and flag data integrity issues for resolution
• - Coordinate with the EDW Architect on pipeline design and technical documentation

AI & Advanced Analytics

• - Support AI-assisted analytics initiatives built on the Quantix EDW — including structured data prep and integration of AI outputs into dashboards
• - Identify opportunities to apply advanced analytics to improve division reporting and operational insight
• - Stay current with emerging tools and techniques in Power BI, BI development, and AI-assisted analytics

Collaboration & Communication

• - Work directly with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver customized analytics solutions
• - Clearly communicate findings, data limitations, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences
• - Serve as a resource and technical guide to junior analysts on the BI & Data team
• - Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Qualifications

Required

• - Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Data Analytics, Finance, or a related field — or demonstrated equivalent experience
• - 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field
• - 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI — data modeling, DAX, M, report and dashboard development, row-level security
• - 5+ years of experience writing SQL in a complex relational database environment — joins, aggregations, window functions, subqueries, query optimization
• - Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• - Demonstrated ability to translate complex datasets into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders
• - Strong attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver on deadlines
• - Highly motivated, proactive self-starter; works well independently and as part of a team

Preferred

• - Experience with Azure data services — Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, or Microsoft Fabric
• - Understanding of data warehousing concepts (star schema, dimensional modeling)
• - Experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain industries
• - Knowledge of other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik)
• - Relevant Power BI certifications
• - MBA or advanced degree

Work Environment

• - Full-time remote position
• - Collaborative team environment within the BI & Data team, reporting to the Manager, Data Analytics with close partnership with Finance and division leadership
• - Minimal travel required (0–15%)
