Position Overview

Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst in Aliso Viejo, CA to develop, implement, and deliver specifications for new tables and views to the data engineering team, and write analytical software documentation that discusses the impact of changes in the streaming environment.

Responsibilities

1. Perform in-depth analysis of functional and business requirements.
2. Develop MicroStrategy dashboards and reports to communicate data.
3. Collaborate with other software development and engineering system teams to maintain and make changes to software code to ensure optimal performance and resiliency of software.
4. Convert freeform SQL reports to Schema Object reports by mapping database tables in MicroStrategy.
5. Create Business Intelligence Self Service Portal to empower stakeholders and business users to generate ad-hoc reports and access interactive dashboards in MicroStrategy.
6. Create tables and views in ad-hoc schema for validating the addition/updates in database for existing or new systems.
7. Create reports for user analysis for games, to onboard new titles and manage the catalog.
8. Develop reporting systems software and communicate analyses derived from these with Business Intelligence leadership.

Minimum Requirements

Requires a Master’s degree in Information Technology, or related field or equivalent, and one (1) year of experience performing in-depth analysis of functional and business requirements.

Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. Sony is an EOE.

Salary range: $147,847.00 - $221,500.00/year
