Job summary

Horry-Georgetown Technical College in South Carolina seeks a full-time Business instructor to teach online, hybrid, and face-to-face classes at HGTC campuses including Myrtle Beach, Conway and Georgetown.

The instructor reports to the Business Administration Academic Chair and will handle instructional planning, syllabus development, student advising, progress evaluations, and program assessment.

Qualifications

• MBA or 18+ graduate credit hours in business and industry experience.
• Preferred qualifications include MBA or 18+ graduate credit hours in business with industry and college level teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Instructional planning, teaching, and student recruitment, retention and advising.
• Developing program syllabi, goals, and objectives.
• Evaluating students’ progress in attaining goals and objectives.
• Assessing Business students’ learning objectives.
• Preparing and maintaining all required documentation and administrative reports.
• Participating in academic term registrations and advising sessions.
