Fragomen in Houston, TX is seeking a Business Immigration Associate to work with a diverse team on sophisticated immigration matters. You will manage client relationships and develop strategies for complex cases, with a focus on quality, compliance, and client service.

The role requires a US JD or LLM and bar admission, 5–8 years' experience at Associate level, and strong written/verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• US JD or LLM is required.
• Member of a US State bar or Washington DC bar.
• 5–8 years of Associate-level experience.
• Strong immigration law knowledge.
• Prior team management preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsabilités

• Build, strengthen, and maintain client relationships with key stakeholders.
• Formulate immigration strategies for complex matters.
• Engage with clients at middle/senior management levels.
• Advise on immigration law with business insight.
• Develop sector-specific expertise to address client needs.
• Ensure filing, data quality, and firm protocol adherence.
• Research and resolve complex immigration issues.
• Independently prepare and file cases.
• Identify growth opportunities within existing clients.
• Supervise Associates and staff; mentor performance.
• Lead process improvements for quality and efficiency.
• Support Partners on proposals, pitches, and RFPs.
• Pursue marketing and business development opportunities.
• Foster cross-team collaboration and compliance.
• Perform other duties as required.
