Job summary

FCCI Insurance Group seeks a Senior Business Development Specialist for the Southwest region (TX). The role acts as the central contact for agents and policyholders, promoting P&C products through the independent agency system and driving profitable account growth.

The BDS will manage new accounts, pricing terms, renewals, and direct policyholder service, working with agents to set annual goals. This field-based role requires travel across Texas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Eight+ years of commercial P&C marketing and underwriting experience.
• Strong knowledge of the independent agency system, specifically the P&C marketplace.
• Superior underwriting technical experience.
• Proven experience developing new accounts in the Texas market.
• Valid driver's license.

We are currently seeking a Senior Business Development Specialist (BDS) for FCCI’s Southwest Region (TX) who can provide a strong local presence for our agents and our policyholders. The selected candidate will be the central point of contact for our agency partners. Will also promote sales of various property and casualty products through the independent agency system and be responsible for the acquisition and retention of profitable accounts through sound underwriting principles reflective of company policy. Candidate must be able to develop and maintain strong relationships with our agency partners and be responsible for new account selection, new account pricing, renewal pricing terms, and direct policyholder service. The BDS will work with their agents to set strategic goals through annual planning sessions. This position will be field-based in Texas, which require travel throughout the territory.

The salary range for this position is $102,357-$157,629 annually. This salary range is an estimate and the actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
