APA Aviation Staffing is recruiting an experienced Senior Business Development Representative for a growing and well-established aviation maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) organization.
Our client provides a broad range of commercial aviation services, including heavy aircraft maintenance, aircraft transitions, cargo conversions, modifications, painting, and aviation aftermarket solutions. With continued investment in facilities, capabilities, and market expansion, the organization is positioned for significant growth.
This is an opportunity for an experienced aviation professional to play a meaningful role in expanding customer relationships, developing new business opportunities, and supporting the next phase of the company's growth.
We are seeking a motivated, well-connected aviation business development professional who understands the commercial aviation marketplace and knows how to turn industry relationships into business opportunities.
This is a proactive business development role, not a traditional inside sales position.
The successful candidate will be comfortable identifying prospects, opening doors, building relationships with key decision-makers, and developing opportunities with airlines, aircraft leasing companies, cargo operators, OEMs, and aviation service providers.
While extensive technical knowledge of heavy aircraft maintenance is not required, candidates should possess a strong understanding of the aviation industry and the credibility to engage maintenance, engineering, fleet management, and technical operations professionals.
Preferred qualifications include:
The ideal candidate will quickly establish a strong understanding of the organization's services and target markets, develop a strategic prospecting plan, and begin creating qualified business opportunities.
Over time, success will be measured by the ability to develop meaningful customer relationships, generate a consistent pipeline of opportunities, expand the company's presence within the commercial aviation market, and contribute to long-term revenue growth.
We are particularly interested in individuals who bring an entrepreneurial mindset, established industry relationships, and a demonstrated ability to create business rather than wait for opportunities to develop.
