Position: Senior Business Development Manager – Path to Senior Leadership

If you’re an accomplished logistics sales professional feeling like your growth has stalled, this is the opportunity to reignite your career. We’re looking for a driven, customer-oriented freight brokerage expert to lead and grow one of our strategic branch locations, with a defined path to Branch Management.

Key Responsibilities

Business Growth & Client Development

  • Identify, pursue, and win new business to expand the branch’s portfolio.
  • Leverage your industry insights and relationships to unlock high-value opportunities.
  • Cultivate long-term partnerships with key customers and industry stakeholders.
  • Build and lead high-performing operations and sales teams.
  • Establish a winning culture focused on accountability, service, and results.
  • Coach and mentor team members, preparing the next wave of leaders under your guidance.
  • Drive revenue growth and profitability through strategic planning and execution.
  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and optimize branch performance.
  • Manage budgets and ensure operations are both cost-effective and service-centric.
  • Leverage your carrier relationships to secure reliable capacity and competitive rates.
  • Ensure compliance and best practices in all aspects of carrier engagement.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 5+ years in freight brokerage or logistics sales, with a proven record of growing accounts and revenue.
  • Strong existing network of clients and/or carriers.
  • Experience building and managing teams—whether formal leadership or informal mentorship.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a hunger to lead, grow, and eventually run your own branch.
  • Comfortable with responsibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to lead from the front.

A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required for candidates with strong industry experience.
