Job summary

Mackenzie Stuart is seeking a New Business Development Manager in the United States/New Jersey to lead growth across beauty, personal care, OTC, and healthcare clients. You will own the full sales cycle from prospecting to commercialization, building a robust pipeline and securing profitable revenue growth through strategic new opportunities.

The role reports to the Chief Commercial Officer and requires 7+ years of relevant experience, with a track record of winning new business and negotiating

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in business development, sales, or commercial leadership.
• Experience within contract manufacturing, CDMO, packaging, beauty, personal care, OTC, healthcare or related industry preferred.
• Proven track record of winning new business and delivering revenue growth.
• Experience managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through commercialization.

Responsibilities

• Drive new customer acquisition and profitable revenue growth.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities across target markets and existing customer accounts.
• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline from prospecting through project award.
• Develop relationships with key decisionmakers and senior customer stakeholders.
• Lead RFQs, proposals, presentations, commercial negotiations, and contract discussions.
• Partner with technical, innovation, operations, and launch teams to develop customer solutions.
• Act as the commercial lead throughout the development and commercialization process.
• Support the successful handover of projects to the account management team following commercialization.
• Represent the organization at relevant trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline forecasts, and opportunity updates.

Job Title: New Business Development Manager

Experience: Minimum of 7 years' experience in Business development, sales, or commercial leadership within contract manufacturing, CDMO, packaging, Beauty, Personal Care, OTC, Healthcare or related industry

Reports to: Chief Commercial Officer
