Job summary

ABM is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager in Phoenix, AZ to lead non-acute facility services sales across multiple locations. You will develop short and long-term sales plans, generate new business, and manage client relationships from qualification to close.

The role requires 5+ years of service sales experience, a hunter mentality, and proficiency with Salesforce and MS Office. You will collaborate with operations and marketing to craft winning proposals and drive growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of service sales experience primarily through cold calls and self-generated leads.
• Experience with facility services, janitorial, CRE, property management, or related fields strongly desired.
• Ability to write and present compelling sales proposals.
• Experience pricing labor within proposals preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute short and long-term sales plans, maintain present sales, attract and connect with new prospects, create proposals, respond to RFPs, and facilitate and close new business.
• Own the information base on prospective clients within the territory.
• Prospect for new business by cold call activities, networking, and lead generation & qualification.
• Negotiate contracts, close the deal, and manage the transition to operations to ensure the proposal commitments are delivered.
• Maintain database for the territory using Salesforce.
