The role requires 7+ years in business law and transactional matters, focusing on drafting and negotiating contracts, advising businesses, and managing complex transactions including mergers and acquisitions.

The ideal candidate will have strong drafting and negotiation skills, the ability to manage matters independently, and a portable book of business is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of transactional business law experience, including mergers and acquisitions.
• Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills.
• Portable book of business strongly preferred.
• Entrepreneurial, client-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements including client, vendor, and partnership contracts.
• Advise clients on forming LLCs, corporations, and partnerships.
• Guide clients in complying with applicable state and federal regulations.
• Manage transactional matters including mergers and acquisitions, business purchases and sales, and due diligence.
• Provide strategic legal counsel to business owners and companies.
