The Commercial Analytics Team is focused on supporting our customers by designing and delivering data and analytics solutions for core business issues faced by today’s life sciences organizations. We ensure the enablement and adoption of the products aligned to Veeva Data Cloud.

The role of the Analytics Senior Consultant is to identify the source of business issues and leverage industry data and analytics to deliver solutions that drive successful business outcomes. These include processes like HCP segmentation & targeting, marketing analytics, forecasting, field execution, and commercial performance. Ultimately, building critical customer relationships within our clients' commercial business.

You will spend most of your time supporting client engagement teams and working with a variety of clients to deliver data/analytics-driven consulting engagements. You should have strong subject matter expertise in sales and commercial operations processes, tools, and supporting brand strategies. You should also have an aptitude for applying analytics and interpreting industry data to deliver actionable insights. Additionally, you should have strong consulting experience to lead projects and coordinate with engagement leadership. Typical projects include applying claims, sales, and projected data to client needs.

This is a remote, full-time permanent role with a preference for candidates on the East Coast to meet client site requirements.

What You’ll Do
  • Leverage data and analytics for solution recommendations and advisory services related to HCP segmentation & targeting, forecasting, marketing analytics, and field KPI definition.
  • Support project delivery by supporting key milestones and timelines.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels within the commercial organization.
  • Monitor project progress, manage risks, and keep stakeholders informed.
  • Stay updated on industry trends relevant to the client's business.
  • Demonstrate the ability to learn quickly and adapt to new knowledge.
  • Maintain good business acumen and industry knowledge.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, specifically in segmentation, targeting, and commercial analytics.
  • Strong understanding of data analytics and how it influences business outcomes.
  • Proven experience in delivering client advisory engagements.
  • Core management consulting skills, including workshop facilitation, client presentations, project management, and developing structured approaches to business problems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel approximately 40%, depending on engagement needs.
Compensation
  • Base pay: $80,000 - $200,000, depending on experience and location.
  • Additional compensation options may include variable bonuses and stock options.
