Position: Solar Operations Analytics Lead
Location: USA (Remote Options Available)
This role centers on overseeing the analytics and performance monitoring of a rapidly expanding commercial and industrial (C&I) solar fleet. You’ll lead a growing team, streamline data workflows, and build tools to improve operational performance across solar, battery, and EV assets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and mentor a team of analysts responsible for identifying and resolving performance issues across a multi-gigawatt solar portfolio.
• Manage daily monitoring of over solar, battery, and EV charging sites, ensuring flagged issues are addressed.
• Produce weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports with actionable insights for executive and operations teams.
• Design and maintain PowerBI dashboards that offer real-time and predictive analytics on asset health and performance.
• Improve internal workflows for data validation, tagging, and issue resolution to enhance operational efficiency.
• Implement systems to monitor equipment warranties and initiate inspections before expiration.
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure alignment with company growth and operational goals.
Required Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in solar monitoring, asset management, or a similar operational analytics role
• 3+ years of team leadership or mentorship experience
• Proficiency in PowerBI with a strong background in dashboard development and performance reporting
• Solid understanding of financial modeling, performance metrics, and forecasting
• Working knowledge of SQL and Python for data analysis and automation
• Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and report generation
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with warranty tracking and asset issue tagging
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks like FERC
• Background in battery storage and/or EV infrastructure operations
• Prior experience supporting scaling operations in a fast-growth environment
