Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a seasoned Business Architect to join the Horizontal Product Management team in shaping business and system architecture. You will conduct information flow studies, plan integrated systems, and recommend cost-efficient technologies that align with corporate goals.

You will lead architecture discussions, influence cross-functional teams, and contribute to roadmap development. Strong Agile and communication skills are required to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years relevant work experience with business and technology projects including process improvement/re-engineering and technology change efforts.
• Knowledge of project tools (JIRA experience preferred)
• Responsible for maximizing value for one or more products, at the program level in a scaled Agile model.
• Experience with and knowledge of Agile project management methodology.
• Process design oriented
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to facilitate meetings, capture key outcomes/actions and own product documentation
• Medium to advanced proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Visio

Responsibilities

• Participates in development and maintenance of business and system architecture and conducts information flow studies.
• Provides integrated systems planning and recommends technologies to enhance current systems and support goals.
• Leads architecture studies for new and existing IT systems to enable low-cost, integrated solutions.
• Interfaces with business areas to ensure initiatives support strategies and goals.
• Leads and influences teams on special initiatives or operations and contributes to staffing and budgeting input.
• Contributes to architecture roadmap and development of best practices; creates architecture vision for large solutions.
