Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Sr. Business Analyst to translate industry and client needs into actionable requirements for system development. You will lead requirements gathering, document user stories, test cases, and production-ready documentation, and collaborate with developers and QA to ensure quality.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a technical organization; Medicaid Enterprise Systems experience highly desired
• Strong communication skills using the English language (written and verbal), including presentation skill
• Communicates on complex or sensitive issues or drafts responses for supervisor or manager.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, analysis, interpretation, and evaluation of reports, documents, and surveys
• Publish results for internal and external clients
• Work with MS SQL Server and analytical processing systems
• Ensure data accuracy and validate data collection methods
• Develop and maintain effective processes for managing requirements and production support
• Communicate status, risks, and issues to senior management or the client
• Develop documentation and work products supporting decisions and processes
• Acquire deep knowledge of working systems and propose performance improvements
• Develop functional test cases and validate system changes with QA and development teams
• Extract, analyze, and report data to support program activity
