Job summary

Maximus in Des Moines, IA is seeking a Sr. Business Analyst to translate complex business needs into clear system requirements and user stories.

You will partner with stakeholders and development teams to ensure accurate, actionable specifications and high-quality deliverables, while guiding requirements validation and test planning. Qualifications

5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a technical organization; Medicaid Enterprise Systems experience highly desired.
Strong communication skills using the English language (written and verbal), including presentation skill.
Draft responses for supervisor or manager and communicate complex issues clearly.

Responsibilities

Lead analysis and evaluation of reports, documents, and surveys.
Publish results for internal and external clients as appropriate.
Define business requirements, system requirements, and test criteria with stakeholders.
Develop functional test cases and collaborate with developers and QA analysts.
Document best practices and support production processes.
Extract, analyze, and report data to support decision making.
Collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver solutions.
