Stellent IT LLC is seeking a Senior Business Analyst with strong banking and lending domain experience to support product-focused technology initiatives in a financial services setting. You will bring expertise in lending products, customer journeys, data, and technology delivery, with hands-on QA and testing exposure.

The role requires mapping journeys, defining capabilities, documenting data flows, collaborating on UI/UX, managing ADO backlogs, and driving KPIs with QA and engineering teams

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Business Analysis experience in enterprise technology environments.
• Recent banking / financial services experience is mandatory.
• Strong lending domain experience across origination, underwriting, servicing, credit decisioning, consumer and commercial lending.
• Demonstrated product-minded approach linking business objectives, customer journeys, capabilities, data and technology.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) for backlog management and Agile delivery.
• Experience creating Business Cases, Journey Diagrams, Capability Maps, Data Flows, Data Dictionaries, Wireframes/UI mockups, Business Rules, and User Stories with Acceptance Criteria.
• Strong QA understanding: test strategy, functional, regression, smoke testing, UAT, defect management, and release validation.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product managers, business stakeholders, technology teams, and QA to define and deliver lending products and capabilities within a banking environment.
• Translate business problems into clear product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and measurable outcomes.
• Develop and maintain business cases, customer journey diagrams, process flows, capability maps, and functional documentation.
• Create and maintain data flows, data dictionaries, field definitions, business rules, and data mappings across lending applications and downstream systems.
• Collaborate with UX/product teams on wireframes, UI mockups, user journeys, and functional behavior.
• Own and maintain Azure DevOps backlogs: epics, features, stories, acceptance criteria, dependencies, priorities, sprint readiness.
• Define and track product and operational KPIs; develop dashboards with stakeholders.
• Work with QA to develop test strategies, scenarios, acceptance criteria, and traceability between requirements and test coverage.
• Participate in functional, regression, smoke, integration, and UAT testing; validate delivered functionality against requirements.
• Review defects, perform business-impact analysis, support triage, and coordinate with engineering for resolution and retesting.
• Help establish regression and smoke test suites for critical lending journeys and business processes.
• Contribute to QA and delivery process improvements, exploring test automation and AI-enabled productivity.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with strong banking and lending domain experience to support product-focused technology initiatives within a financial services environment. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of lending products, customer journeys, business processes, data, and technology delivery, along with hands‑on exposure to QA and software testing.

This role requires someone who can operate beyond traditional requirements gathering - someone who can understand the business case, map customer and operational journeys, define capabilities, document data flows, collaborate on UI/UX, manage ADO backlogs, establish KPIs, and work closely with QA and engineering teams through testing and release.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with product managers, business stakeholders, technology teams, and QA to define and deliver lending products and capabilities within a banking environment.
• Analyze business problems, objectives, and opportunities and translate them into clear product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and measurable outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of Business Analysis experience in enterprise technology environments.

• Mandatory: Strong lending domain experience, preferably across areas such as loan origination, underwriting, servicing, credit decisioning, consumer lending, mortgage, commercial lending, or related lending platforms.
