Job summary

Prudent Technologies and Consulting, Inc. seeks a senior Business Analyst to lead complex enterprise transformation initiatives. You will own functional workstreams from discovery to deployment, mentor analysts, and translate business needs into technical requirements across APIs, data flows, and reporting.

Requirements include 8+ years of BA experience, strong stakeholder communication, and familiarity with SOX, data privacy, and cybersecurity. Onsite in Southern California preferred.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive Business Analysis experience supporting complex enterprise technology or business transformation programs.
• Senior/lead/principal-level analyst owning complex functional workstreams from discovery through deployment.
• Experience mentoring or managing a team of analysts; formal manager title not required.
• Advanced requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, validation, prioritization, traceability, and change control.
• Proficiency creating process flows, swimlanes, use cases, and functional specs, user stories, acceptance criteria, decision tables, and traceability matrices.
• Strong technical aptitude translating between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.
• Solid understanding of enterprise applications, system integrations, APIs/interfaces, data flows, reporting, RBAC, environments, and testing concepts.
• Knowledge of SDLC and project management; experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery.
• Workshop facilitation, executive-ready communication, negotiation, conflict-resolution, and decision-driving skills.
• Working knowledge of SOX, Data Privacy, and Cybersecurity in enterprise solutions.
• Attention to detail, organization, critical thinking, problem solving, and follow-through.
• Experience supporting modernization of legacy platforms, packaged software, vendor-led delivery, or complex system integrations.
• Experience with financial transactions, accounting events, reconciliations, payments, reserves, or regulatory/audit controls.
• Hands-on with Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Visio, Lucidchart, Miro, requirements repositories.
• Business Analysis certification such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or equivalent.

WHAT'S NEEDED

• 8+ years of progressive Business Analysis experience supporting complex enterprise technology or business transformation programs.
• Demonstrated experience operating as a senior, lead, or principal-level analyst and owning complex functional workstreams from discovery through deployment.
• Experience leading, mentoring, coordinating, or managing a team of analysts. Formal manager title is not required.
• Advanced proficiency in requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, validation, prioritization, traceability, and change control.
• Advanced proficiency creating process flows, swimlane diagrams, use cases, functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, decision tables, and traceability matrices.
• Strong technical aptitude and proven ability to translate effectively between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.
• Solid understanding of enterprise applications, system integrations, APIs/interfaces, data flows, reporting, role-based access, environments, and testing concepts.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and project-management practices, with experience working in Agile, Waterfall, and/or hybrid delivery models.
• Demonstrated workshop facilitation, executive-ready communication, negotiation, conflict-resolution, and decision-driving skills.
• Working knowledge of SOX, Data Privacy, and Cybersecurity requirements within enterprise solution delivery.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organization, critical thinking, problem solving, and follow-through.
• Ability to work onsite in Southern California as required and collaborate across business and technology teams.
• Experience in Vehicle Service Contracts, extended service plans, warranty administration, claims, contract servicing, cancellations, refunds, dealer operations, automotive finance, or related automotive aftersales processes.
• Experience supporting modernization of legacy platforms, packaged software implementation, vendor-led delivery, or complex system integration programs.
• Experience with financial transactions, accounting events, reconciliations, payments, reserves, or regulatory/audit controls.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Visio, Lucidchart, Miro, requirements repositories, or comparable platforms.
• Business Analysis certification such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or equivalent relevant professional certification.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline; equivalent experience may be considered.
