Job summary

The Utah Office of Recovery Services (ORS) seeks a Senior Business Analyst Supervisor to lead the New Technology Team. You will supervise a dedicated team of SBAs, manage security and integrity of ORS systems, and coordinate with DTS, executives, and bureaus to ensure data-driven improvements.

Strong SQL skills, especially PostgreSQL, plus experience in risk assessment and IT governance, are required. This is an on-site role in Taylorsville, UT with standard benefits.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated capability to evaluate project sizing and distribute tasks.
• Solid security principles, access control frameworks, and audit experience.
• Experience guiding business analysis lifecycles and SIT/UAT.
• Experience leading risk assessments for new software and system changes.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Knowledge of data governance and federal/state regulatory requirements.
• Ability to plan projects, requirements, release notes, and go-live checklists.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL and complex SQL design.
