Everforth Apex Systems seeks a Senior Business Analyst to own end-to-end requirements, acting as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams in St. Louis.

The role requires strong technical acumen to document system interactions, map data flows, and design effective technology solutions on-site. You will facilitate workshops, create detailed user stories with acceptance criteria, and collaborate with engineers and QA throughout the SDLC, ensuring alignment with business

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
• 3–5 years of business analysis, requirements gathering, and specification development for software initiatives.
• Proficiency with Jira/Confluence and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Experience with requirements elicitation techniques such as meetings, process mapping, and workflow analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering initiatives via workshops, interviews, and process analysis.
• Facilitate discussions to understand objectives, challenges, and opportunities.
• Translate business and data needs into clear functional specifications for development/testing.
• Map current/future state processes to improve systems/workflows.
• Document workflows, system interactions, and solution designs with acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with developers and testers throughout the SDLC.
• Support QA/testing and user acceptance activities.
• Track defects and enhancements in project tools.
