Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking an accomplished IT Business Analyst to join an Agile development team in Chicago. You will own business analysis, requirements gathering, and design of custom applications, while managing vendor relationships and governance processes. This role coordinates requirements, testing, and operational readiness across U.S.

business hours. Responsibilities include stakeholder engagement, documenting data requirements, and supporting sprint planning with the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• 10+ years IT industry experience required.
• Experience in Agile development and collaboration with high-performing teams.
• Minimum 2 years in a leadership position.

Responsibilities

• Liaise between business partners, engineering teams, vendors, and project managers.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews to gather business, functional and data requirements.
• Translate requirements into use cases, diagrams, and impact analyses.
• Support sprint planning, backlog creation, and refinement of user stories in ADO.
• Maintain ITSM artifacts including knowledge articles and on-call schedules.
• Track governance tasks such as DR planning, vulnerabilities, and EOL items.
• Prepare weekly project activity summaries and SLA metrics for leadership.
• Assist with budget analysis and vendor charge validation.
