Job summary

Associa, a leader in property management solutions, seeks a Senior Business Analyst to bridge business stakeholders and software development teams. You will translate business needs into actionable requirements and ensure alignment across design, development, and delivery of technology solutions.

You will elicit, analyze, document requirements, and collaborate with developers, architects, and product owners throughout the SDLC to validate intent and manage changes.

Qualifications

• Strong experience working directly with business stakeholders and software development teams.
• Translate business needs into clear, testable system requirements.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycles and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with requirements and collaboration tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, and Excel.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and software development teams.
• Elicit, analyze, clarify, and document business requirements through interviews, workshops, and working sessions.
• Ensure stakeholder goals, constraints, and priorities are clearly understood and translated into functional requirements and user stories.
• Partner with developers, architects, and product owners throughout the SDLC to validate intent and manage changes.
• Facilitate alignment between business expectations and technical solutions, helping stakeholders understand tradeoffs.
• Analyze existing processes to identify gaps and improvement opportunities that support business objectives.
• Create and maintain process flows, models, and documentation to support development and decision-making.
• Support testing, user acceptance, and release activities to ensure delivered solutions meet business needs.
• Communicate progress, risks, and decisions clearly across business and technology teams.
