Job summary

ECS Corporate Services is seeking a Sr. Business Analyst to work remotely, supporting DHS initiatives in building low-code applications and facilitating Agile processes.

The role involves requirements gathering, documentation, cross-team coordination, and creating comprehensive materials for stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has at least 10 years of experience in systems analysis, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Jira/Confluence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 10+ years of work experience in business analysis or systems analysis.
• Experience with SDLC and requirements gathering.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate program materials and develop innovative approaches for improvement.
• Document and analyze business and functional requirements for process maps and technical specs.
• Create project schedules with dependencies and definitions of done for weekly stakeholder briefings.
• Develop documentation including system diagrams, concepts of operations, and monthly status reports.
• Support creation of briefings, agendas, and training materials for DHS stakeholders.
• Create high-level briefings and communications for customers, management, and executives.
• Gather information from subject matter experts to develop procedures and technical documentation.
• Manage change and configuration processes and track specific changes requested by the team.
• Use Jira/Confluence to track project work and document information for the team and users.
• Maintain reference materials and ensure accuracy of documentation.
• Research and write new content, collaborating with team members on project requirements.
• Collaborate with developers and support leads to identify repositories and optimize information presentation and user experience.
• Develop content in alternative media forms for maximum usability with a consistent voice.
