Job summary

ASRC NetCentric is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support a DHS program. This remote role involves analyzing business requirements, shaping system design, and guiding teams through complex information systems projects.

The candidate will engage with stakeholders, perform trade-off analyses, and help document procedures for ongoing operations, maintenance, and cloud-based services. A Public Trust background investigation is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 8 years' experience in systems analysis and design.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust or Security Clearance is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey complex topics.

Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements and translate them into system requirements.
• Understand the design of complex information systems and define requirements for software development.
• Define how information systems may be upgraded or replaced.
• Conduct trade-off analyses on business and technical requirements.
• Quickly develop understanding of languages, OS, and databases used on projects.

ASRC NetCentric is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support an upcoming DHS program. This is a remote position.

Position is contingent upon award

Summary

The DHS Program will provide professional services to support application analysis, architectural design, engineering, development, maintenance, and support. Work includes implementation of Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Flow, and Power Business Intelligent (BI)), SharePoint, Office 365, Azure products and Services, Dataverse, Drupal, Confluence, Jira, and ServiceNow. We will provide a team experienced with design, agile software development, project management, technical architecture, engineering and design, continuous integration and delivery, integration, testing, configuration management, ongoing operations and maintenance, and cloud migration.

Responsibilities

• Understanding business requirements so that they may be accurately translated in system requirements
• Understanding the design of moderately complex information systems so that functional issues may be understood and business requirements can be properly defined for software development.
• Helping to define how information systems may be upgraded or replaced
• Conducting trade-off analyses on business and technical requirements
• The ability to quickly develop a working understanding of the applicable programming languages, operating systems and databases that will be used on the projects and programs
• Developing procedures, manuals and other documentation for information systems
• Overseeing work of Analysts on specific tasks

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 8 years’ experience combined in in “both” systems analysis and design of information systems programs US Ci
• tizen and ability to successfully complete a government issued background investigation
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust. Prior Public Trust or Security Clearance, preferred
• Possess superior verbal and written communication skills; able to clearly convey complex technical and programmatic topics to diverse stakeholders
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities; able to turn ambiguous requirements into actionable plans
• Ability to motivate and guide technical teams, promoting collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
