WCL Group seeks a seasoned Business Analyst V to maintain vendor relationships and support non-IT projects, operating above an administrative level but below management. You will oversee project management processes, goals, deadlines, metrics and budgets, reporting to a project manager or director.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, promotional planning, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize performance and profitability across promotions and B2B initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in business analysis or category management required.
• Data oriented with strong analytical skills and attention to detail, self-motivated, and able to communicate with internal and external parties at all levels.
• Ecommerce platform and catalog management required.
• Demonstrated ability to work with numbers, financials, P&L and various datasets.
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel formulas, pivot tables, data stitching and mathematical analysis.
• Strong understanding of current technologies and systems that support the digital ecosystem.
• Strong project or program management experience with attention to documentation, tracking and details.
• Aptitude for organization, flexibility, and producing results.
• Strong customer-centric focus/ability to anticipate and react to user needs.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams to achieve necessary results.
• Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Expert ability to work independently and manage one's time.
• Expert knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
• Expert ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles to work as needed.
• Expert ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses.
• Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel; Enterprise Application experience a plus.

Responsabilités

• Business planning and analysis of performance, achievement to targets and gap closure plans.
• Promotion planning informed by data and analysis, maintain promotional calendar documentation for internal consumption.
• Cost analysis and ensuring promotions and projects stay within approved budgets.
• Manage and work with vendors related to promotions and related projects.
• Review and approve documentation of business processes.
• Supporting B2B eCommerce sales agents with deal structures for customer negotiations on ad hoc basis.
• P&L analysis of all promotion and deal planning to drive profitable growth KPI.
• Active reporting and insights to drive optimization during promotions and wrap-up analysis to document results and learnings, regular delivery of numbers and findings.
• Drive merchandising strategy/execution and customer experience for promotions based on impact, inventory and business priorities, coordinating activities with cross-functional teams.
• Work with inventory manager to ensure alignment on promotion planning and merchandising activities.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and engage with cross-functional team to successfully implement new operational solutions.
• Working in operational tools to set up promotional and other activities.
• Support daily operations maintenance, liaising with product, engineering, customer service, fulfillment, etc. teams on issue resolution and task achievement.
• Review and approve contracts, cost proposals and contract supplements.
• Approve project and work breakdown structures.
• Review and approve the documentation of business processes.
• Approve project budgets and expenditures, monitor transaction controls and costs against budgets.
• Predict potential budget overruns and offer solutions.
• Consult with corporate offices, project managers, auditors, client and sub-consultant representatives regarding future proposals.
• Prepare sub-agreements and review and input sub-consultant invoices to ensure contact compliance.
