Job summary

Aquent is partnering with a leading utility company to optimize material readiness and forecasting for a multi-year advanced metering initiative. You will leverage work order, installation, and telemetry data to forecast demand, monitor deployment readiness, and provide actionable insights to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• 5+ years in business analytics, forecasting, or related roles.
• Experience with large datasets and reporting environments.
• Proficiency with SAP, Power BI, SQL, BigQuery, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Analyze work order and installation data to identify materials consumed during meter deployment activities.
• Develop quarterly and annual material demand forecasts to support inventory planning.
• Create and maintain forecasting models, dashboards, and performance metrics for readiness and deployment risk.
• Establish reporting frameworks classifying inventory health as Good to Go or At Risk.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, and PM teams to align forecasted demand with deployment schedules.
• Analyze operational data from meter installations, repairs, and field activities.
• Develop reports measuring productivity, quality, deployment performance, and efficiency.
• Identify trends and gaps and drive workflow standardization and improvements.
• Translate data into actionable insights for leadership and stakeholders.
• Support data governance and analytics best practices across the initiative.
• Analyze telemetry and sensor data to identify anomalies and risks.
