Job summary

Primary Services is seeking a Supply Chain Business Analyst to support a major Advanced Metering Initiative on a six-month contract with extension potential. The role focuses on forecasting material needs, inventory planning, and analytics to guide deployment decisions across Supply Chain, Field Operations, and Program Leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in business analysis, operational analytics, forecasting, or a related discipline.
• Strong experience with material forecasting, inventory planning, or supply chain analytics.
• Advanced experience developing dashboards and analytical reporting with Power BI.
• Strong working knowledge of SQL and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with SAP and operational or inventory data.

Responsibilities

• Analyze meter installation data to forecast quarterly and annual material requirements.
• Develop material forecasting models that support long-term deployment planning.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards, operational reports, and KPIs for program leadership.
• Monitor inventory availability and identify potential material shortages and deployment risks.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Field Operations, and Program Leadership to communicate forecasts and inventory needs.
• Analyze work order and operational data to identify inefficiencies, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Use SQL, SAP, and other data sources to extract, validate, and analyze program information.
• Support inventory planning and material availability analysis throughout meter deployments.
• Develop analytics supporting smart meter pressure, temperature, leak detection, and equipment performance as the program progresses.
• Support emerging use cases involving anomaly detection, real-time telemetry, and predictive maintenance.
