Job summary

Supernova Technology in Chicago seeks a skilled Business Analyst to lead requirements gathering, analyze business and system needs, and translate them into clear specifications for multiple fintech projects.

You will document requirements, run review meetings with stakeholders, assist in customization with product development, and oversee configuration, QA, and testing to ensure high-quality releases from our Chicago HQ—with the option to telecommute from a home office in the Chicago metro area

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, finance, project management or related field and 3 years of experience as a business analyst within the fintech or financial services sector.
• Must possess 3 years of experience with data analytics, project management, MS Office Suite (Excel and PowerPoint) and preparing solution packages for onboarding enterprise clients or enabling new product modules.
• Experience with configuring and supporting multiple configuration tools and performing QA/testing activities.
• Experience working with clients or internal teams to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering by analyzing business and system needs for various projects.
• Document requirements, organize reviews, and present detailed requirements to teams.
• Support customization requests with product development and assist Jr. BAs.
• Perform system configuration and master all configuration tools.
• Oversee QA/testing planning and execution to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Coordinate release notes and monitor project performance.
