CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our Digital Engineering Solutions team. This role translates business needs into actionable requirements and ensures alignment with customer objectives.

As part of the Development group, you will map current processes, identify bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement through data and stakeholder collaboration.

A Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related experience are required; CBAP is preferred; some travel may be involved.

• 5 years of related experience.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with higher management and stakeholders to gather functional and non-functional requirements.
• Engage in gathering and evaluating information from multiple sources.
• Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, or redundancies by mapping current business processes.
• Ensure functional requirements align with business needs by bridging Development and Business teams.
• Provide technical expertise and strong interpersonal skills for stakeholder management.
• Create training materials and user manuals, and conduct training sessions.
• Identify development areas and assist the team in anticipating challenges.
• Proactively address potential problems to smooth transitions.
• Help prevent scope creep and manage project timelines and budgets.
• Establish a culture of continuous improvement.
