Overview

First Citizens Bank is seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Product Owner to help drive the continued evolution of our digital channels—including web, mobile, and other client-facing platforms—with a focus on developing a corporate client portal. This portal is vital for delivering secure, streamlined, and value-added services to our business clients. The role involves executing the digital roadmap in line with product leadership, client expectations, regulatory standards, and business goals.

As a senior member of the digital product team, you will translate strategic objectives into actionable requirements, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and deliver digital experiences that enhance client engagement, satisfaction, and value. You will work closely with business stakeholders, support, and operations teams to ensure the portal remains a trusted platform for clients.

Responsibilities

1. Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for the digital platform by collaborating with stakeholders across departments.
2. Define and refine user stories, use cases, process flows, and functional specifications.
3. Work with UX/UI designers and developers to translate business needs into user-friendly applications.
4. Identify gaps, pain points, and opportunities for process improvements.
5. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure technical feasibility and alignment.
6. Support UAT and deployment by validating requirements and addressing gaps.
7. Act as a liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring clear communication.
8. Maintain and update business requirement documents as the platform evolves.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 6 years of experience in analytics, modeling, or reporting OR High School Diploma/GED with 10 years of experience in the same fields.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Treasury Management applications related to ACH, wires, reporting, etc. (a plus).
• Strong understanding of systems applications.
• Experience building system portals.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Ability to support production teams during go-live.
