Job summary

COOLSOFT is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support business process analysis and requirements for the Data Modernization Initiative at the NC Department of Health and Human Services. The role includes stakeholder analysis, process design, user stories, and documentation, with collaboration across PMO, developers, and end users.

The candidate will gather requirements, write test scenarios, support UAT, and assist in procurement documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience documenting functional requirements and technical specs for existing and new apps.
• Strong writing and communication; ability to build relationships with team and clients.
• Proven negotiation, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Conducts stakeholder analysis and market research.
• Identifies and documents current/future state process workflows.
• Creates user stories and acceptance criteria; develops process diagrams and data models.
• Gathers, documents and validates business, functional and technical requirements.
• Supports UAT, testing, and go-live activities.
• Maintains project documentation and artifacts for procurement inputs.
